My belief is that anyone can change any maladaptive, toxic, or unwanted thoughts or behaviors they perceive in themselves. Looking specifically at those who sit in front of me, knowing they possess all the knowledge and power to do anything they desire, I adopt a client-centered therapy approach in which I, as the therapist, am just someone who can help clients recognize and bring those positive attributes within themselves to life. I genuinely believe that my clients are the experts of their own stories, experiences, and lives. Through client-centered therapy, I focus on the idea that growth and change are self-maintained. I approach this idea of therapy with empathy for my clients. I also have an unconditional positive regard, in which I will constantly work on creating a positive and healing environment for you.

As a first-generation Latina professional, my life has shaped me to maintain a nonjudgmental environment in which we both work towards your changes. I genuinely feel that I am able to connect with clients through my personal experiences, while also maintaining multicultural competence, knowing that the society we live in today is a salad bowl of individuals who share different ideas, beliefs, cultures, opinions, and thoughts than those of my own. I'm eager to speak with you and start the journey towards a better you!
