Hi!

For over 30 years I have recognized the importance of someone being available and allowing a person to be heard. Whether a child, adolescent, parent and/or adult, life speaks to us in ways that do not always go along with the visions or expectations we had, want or need. When this happens, our life can become challenging and lead us away from the individual and person that we know we can and should become.

I believe that every person has a purpose, and we all have strengths and resources we can draw upon to help us renourish that part of our Self. I also believe that seeking help is never too late or too early, as our experiences will create movement towards change in one way or another. If you are feeling stuck with thoughts and/or feelings of worry, sadness, hopelessness, feeling like you are repeating the same patterns over and over again. Whether your child is struggling or you are looking for help for behavioral challenges, I can help. I draw upon my decades of experience, training and knowledge to help you explore and increase the awareness and skill set needed to cope with managing these life issues and creating more "wholeness".

As a Social Worker, I've worked in multiple settings including in-home, inpatient, outpatient and residential. I draw from various therapeutic techniques within Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with a Trauma-Focus (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Positive Discipline, Beyond Consequences and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM). I am very passionate about Developmental/Complex Trauma as many of our life struggles stem from the messages that have been instilled in us about how we "should" connect with ourselves and others.

If you are wanting to move forward in a safe, trauma-informed and compassionate setting, I look forward to you allowing me to help you on your journey.
