My belief is that anyone can change, any maladaptive, toxic or unwanted thoughts or behavior they perceive in themselves. Looking specifically at those who sit in front of me, knowing they have all of the knowledge and power to do anything they desire, I take on a client-centered therapy approach in which I as the therapist am just someone whom can help clients see and bring those positive attributes in themselves to life. I really do believe that my clients are the experts of their stories, experiences, and lives. Through client centered therapy, I focus on the idea that growth and change is self-maintained. I approach this idea of therapy with empathy for my clients. I also have an unconditional positive regard, in which I will constantly work on creating a positive and healing environment for you.

As a first-generation Latina professional, my life has shaped me to maintain a nonjudgmental environment in which we both work towards your changes. I genuinely feel like I am able to connect with clients through my personal experiences while also maintaining multicultural competence by knowing that the society we live in today is a salad bowl of those whom share different ideas, beliefs, cultures, opinions and thoughts than those of my own. I am eager to speak to you and start the journey towards a better you!
